What is EIS E-TRADE?

E-TRADE is an electronic trading service offered by EIS- KSA over the Internet to our valued customers in order to enable them to execute local shares, GCC, MENA , International market, monitor their investment portfolios and view market news and developments.

What is a bid?

It is an order to buy a specific number of shares of a given company traded on the market.

Does EIS- KSA charge a subscription fee against service provision?

NO, there is no subscription fee.

What commission rate does EIS- KSA apply to trading via E-TRADE?

The EIS- KSA charges the same commission rate applied to the market

What happens to the order if my available balance does not cover the bid quantity price?

Prior to acceptance of an entered order, the System will match the order price to the designated current account balance. This measure aims to ensure that the order is fully executable without overdrawing the account. If the balance is insufficient, the System will return a message indicating that the available balance is inadequate to execute the order.

What is an offer?

It is an order to sell a specific number of shares of a given company traded on the market.

What is the order validity period?

The customer can select either of the following validity options:
- One trading day: the order is valid for one day only.
- Execute or cancel: the order will either be executed on the spot or cancelled.

Who is eligible to trade Saudi local shares through EIS- KSA?

According to instructions of CMA, service availability is restricted to Saudis and GCC states nationals.

What are the operational requirements of E-TRADE services?

- Open current account with EIS- KSA.
- An investment valid I.D or passport.
- E-mail address.

When the market is open, which orders are executed first?

Once EIS- KSA Financial Services computes the quantity to be traded, this is allocated to orders based on their priority:
- Market orders will have first priority of full execution.
- Orders priced on better terms than the market opening price (in-the-market) follow in full execution priority once all Market Orders have been executed.
- The remaining quantity is allocated to other orders priced (actual order price) at market opening price following a quantitative allocation method.

What is a 'Market Order'?

It is an un-priced order to trade a particular share instantly at best current market price.

How can I amend an order?

Click on the "Action" Icon to view and amend order details, then enter your "Password" To authorize the amendment.

What execution options are offered?

There are several options:
- Market order on arrival: the order is executed on the market offer price. In this case, the customer's account balance must be sufficient to cover the maximum share price appreciation rate i.e. A %. This is applicable to a bid only.
- Full execution: the order quantity must be executed in full.
- Minimum execution amount: the minimum quantity of an order must be executed.
- Minimum execution amount per deal: the minimum deal amount of an entered order quantity must be executed.

What are the EIS- KSA Investment Services local shares trading times?

The trading times are the following:
Saturday-Wednesday, From 11:00 AM until 3:30 PM
Thursday-Friday, Market Closed
The Market is also closed on national holidays.

How can I subscribe to E-TRADE investment?

You need to fill out the Service Application Form and submit it to EIS- KSA branch. We will communicate necessary details to you through your email address.

What happens if I do not fix the order validity?

If no order validity is fixed, the System will automatically enter it as a "One Trading Day" order.

Can I fix the execution quantity?

Yes, you can fix the quantity to be executed using a special execution order. The Service supports fixation of special execution in the following manner:
- Full execution: the order quantity must be fully executed without splitting.
- 1st time minimum execution amount: this order enables the user to fix the order minimum quantity to be executed in the first deal. For the remaining quantity, the order becomes a just another normal order.
- Minimum execution amount: the order is executed in equal deals until the entire order quantity is executed.

How can I cancel an order?

Click on the (Cancel) mark beside the order number to view the 'cancellation confirmation screen'.

Are there any restrictions in case of order characteristics alteration?

You cannot amend the company symbol, market or order type (bid/offer). For these cases, you need to cancel the order, enter details again and send it to the market.

How many branches do you have?

In Riyadh there are ONE branches working and other two under construction, and one branch in Jeddah and one in khubar

The EIS – KSA working hours is from 9:00AM to5:00PM

What are the required documents to open an account?

For Saudis the ID Card , Fill the form
For GCC nationals filling up the forms and copy of passport.
And for Non-Saudis The Eqama, Copy of the passport & a letter from his company

Yes you can through our website, if you have an account with EIS-KSA.
